From the Owner

My passion for designing houses began when I was 10 years old!  I drew plans on graph paper in the dormer of my bedroom, which I referred to as “my office.”  In 2005, I began working for and training with a residential designer in my hometown, where I was able to learn the design process from start to finish.  In 2010, I began freelance designing for local builders and continued to do so until launching Ideal House Plans.  What I love about designing is that I see the plans as livable art – creations that, once built, people will be able to live in and make memories in.  I am so grateful to be involved in helping others find the home they’ve been dreaming of.  I am so excited to share my plans with you; thank you for visiting!
